As a novice furniture painter, it took a little getting used to. The paint is very thick which is tricky but it is as advertised ‘self levelling’ and so this can work to your advantage. You can roll but only for short distances and can waste paint in pour/roll/tray. Very good product. Straight on varnished pine with only cleaning as prep.

Buy Brand Name!Yes it does cost more but it IS the brand name product. I’ve read on line people who order from Amazon received poor quality generic product.
